LEO Learning is proud to have been shortlisted for two Learning Technologies Awards this month: one in the ‘Best use of mobile learning’ category for our work with Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) and one in the ‘Best learning technologies project – commercial sector’ for our work with Brambles.
Projects and products from over 15 different countries are among those who made the 2016 shortlist, decided by Learning Technologies’ independent judging panel which is made up of over 40 experts and organised by the eLearning Network.
Here’s a little more about the shortlisted LEO Learning projects:
Category: Best use of mobile learning
Luxury car manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover’s (JLR) ambition is ‘Creating Experiences Customers Love, For Life’. To excel within a competitive market and continue delivering ‘passionate and knowledgeable experts’, they wanted to completely reinvented the customer experience within the retailer show rooms. While JLR’s cars celebrate innovative technology, the previous quick-reference guides supplied didn’t. They were designed for retailers to memorise key information about every JLR car but were impossible to learn by heart, outdated and unreliable. In line with three fundamental pillars, JLR commissioned LEO Learning Learning to create beautiful, on-brand Electronic Pocket Guide apps – invaluable tools enabling sales people to connect with customers and deliver all-round better experiences.
Catagory: Best learning technologies project – commercial sector
Global supply chain company Brambles, challenged by an increasingly competitive market, wanted to break down processes and educate 10,000 employees in supply chain skills. The L&D team unified the business globally to create a vision, then put in place an innovative ‘by-employees-for-employees’ solution: The ‘Supply Chain Academy’, a digital learning hub with an interactive education game at its heart that drew thousands of learners. The impressive take-up, satisfaction and improvement against learning objectives enabled the business to leverage its market-leading position and secure profitable growth.
Shortlisted nominees now face the judging panel again in a series of presentations, taking place in London and online, with winners unveiled at a gala evening on 30 November.
