LEO GRC (formerly Eukleia), a global specialist in Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) training solutions, has launched a new range of financial crime courses, specifically tailored to the North American market.
The topics, available as off-the-shelf course solutions, include anti-money laundering, sanctions, anti-bribery and corruption, fraud awareness, preventing and detecting tax evasion, as well as Financial Crime Essentials, a round-up of all key information from the courses.
The courses, which are available to trial from the course catalog at no cost, use engaging visuals and bite-sized chunks of information to appeal to busy employees. The courses are around 20-25 minutes in length and include case studies and/or scenarios of real-world examples and knowledge assessment as standard. They are also SCORM 1.2 compatible and designed using the Gomo Learning authoring tool to be fully responsive and accessible on all devices.
“While the true cost of financial crime is hard to calculate, conservative estimates indicate this type of crime cost companies in North America around USD$319 billion in 2017/2018, and that doesn’t include the human misery and suffering caused by the crimes that underlie financial crime,” said Senior Vice President, Scott McCleskey. “We know that employees are an organization’s first line of defense when it comes to financial crime, which is why LEO’s new courses aim to help firms combat this very real threat with training that increases awareness of the problem and encourages employee behavior change.”
In addition to the financial crime course library, LEO plans to release in-depth courses on Trade-Based Money Laundering, Financial Crime in Correspondent Banking, and other important topics for the North American market later in the year.
