From the 16th to the 18th of May, LEO Learning will be attending the ITEC 2017 conference and exhibition at the Ahoy in Rotterdam. ITEC is an annual forum for representatives from the military, industry and academia to connect and share knowledge with the international training, education and simulation sectors. Presenting a unique overview of the industry’s latest innovations, the event provides visitors with a platform to discuss developments in this evolving market and exchange ideas about future requirements for military training and simulation.
The LEO Learning Learning team will be exhibiting at stand 14B, and chatting with event attendees about LEO Learning’s wide variety of learning solutions.
Here are three reasons why we can’t wait to get to ITEC 2017:
1) Demonstrating results
We’re very proud to have been able to help our clients make real organisational transformations in the past year, and are looking forward to showcasing some of that work. On our stand, we’ll have a range of case studies from clients such as Civil Service Learning (CSL) and the MOD, plus demos for visitors. We hope these projects will inspire visitors and enable them to take a closer look at some of the ways LEO Learning Learning can help them overcome their biggest learning challenges.
We’ll also be focusing on our expertise in games-based learning solutions by demonstrating the Zero Threat cyber-security game. To find out more about how education and entertainment can be intertwined for an engaging way to learn, come and take a look at our stand.
2) Measurement of training effectiveness
This topic features strongly in the seminars at this year’s ITEC event and we believe that organisations have an increasing appetite to get to grips with their training data! LEO Learning’s Chief Strategy Officer, Piers Lea, alongside Watershed and the iVentiv network, conducted research across over 350 countries in Europe and the US in various sectors, from government to motoring, aviation, defence and technology. The insight is available as a free download on the LEO Learning website.
In April this year, LEO Learning hosted a measuring learning impact event where expert speakers, including LEO Learning’s Piers Lea and Watershed’s Mike Rustici, and 30 L&D professionals came together to find a way to solve the learning analytics puzzle. Their wisdom has been compiled into the top 10 components for measuring the business impact of learning.
We’ll be joined on our ITEC stand this year by Watershed, who are looking forward to chatting about learning analytics and big data. If you would like to book a meeting with our learning consultants whilst at the event please contact us at defence@old.leolearning.com.
3) Meeting our clients
Many of our clients will be at the event, and we’re really looking forward to catching up with them. We’re hosting a drinks reception on the second afternoon of the event, open to all attendees, which will be a great opportunity for everyone to come together and raise a toast.
Be sure to stop by our stand 14B whilst at the event to say hello, and follow us on Twitter (@leolearning) for updates.
